1. Information We Collect
To process your self-drive vehicle reservation, verify driver eligibility, and maintain regulatory transport compliance, ODAC24 collects the following categories of information:
- Driver Identity & License Details: Scanned copies or physical verification details of your Original Driving License (LMV), Government Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID), and active mobile phone number.
- Reservation & Payment Records: Pickup location (e.g. Chandigarh Airport IXC, Sector 46C HQ, Mohali, Panchkula), trip start/end timestamps, chosen vehicle category, and UPI/Card transaction reference numbers (note: raw credit/debit card numbers are never stored on ODAC24 servers).
- Communication Records: WhatsApp chats, telephone call logs with our 24/7 dispatch desk, and feedback submissions.
2. Vehicle Telemetry & GPS Safety Tracking
In accordance with commercial tourist permit vehicle standards, all ODAC24 self-drive cars are fitted with telematics and GPS tracking units.
Why GPS telemetry is utilized:
- Providing accurate 24×7 Roadside Assistance (RSA) in remote mountain sectors (Manali, Shimla, Spiti, Kasauli).
- Anti-theft vehicle recovery and emergency breakdown dispatch.
- Ensuring safety compliance within prohibited extreme off-road zones.
GPS data is strictly accessible only by authorized emergency response coordinators and is automatically archived after rental closure.
3. How We Use & Protect Your Information
ODAC24 strictly uses collected information for genuine operational purposes:
- Confirming your car reservation and generating your digital handover agreement.
- Executing fast 2 to 4 hour security deposit refunds via direct UPI or bank transfer upon car return.
- Coordinating on-time airport arrivals and doorstep drop-offs.
- Assisting local law enforcement or insurance assessors solely in the event of an official accident claim or legal inquiry.
4. Third-Party Sharing Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared exclusively with:
- Authorized Insurance Underwriters: Only when an accidental damage claim or third-party claim is initiated.
- Law Enforcement & Transport Authorities: If required by Indian law under valid court orders or official RTO challan investigations.
- Banking & Payment Partners: Razorpay / UPI payment rails for verifying deposit and billing refunds.
5. Your Data Rights & Retention
You have the right to request a review of your customer profile, request correction of any inaccurate documents, or request the deletion of non-statutory records after all rental invoices, deposit reconciliations, and traffic challan lookup windows have concluded.
